While the second half of December is always more eventful then the first half because of all of the holidays it was overly busy with all the doctors visits with have had and a trip the to er at childrens. Both kids ended up having strep throat at the same time followed by clayden also coming down with croup.
The first part of December was full of fun events from seeing Santa to being on the go with new things. Auntie J and Uncle Dom came in town with all of the cousins. We got a 3rd Christmas tree moving the white one over to Nana and Papas house. Khloe had her first school concert that was soo adorable. We got to take the kids to see the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train which was pretty cool to see as it went by with all the different lights that are on it.
The kids went to the moose Christmas party this year which I would have to say was one of the better run events. Clayden got a Melissa and doug puzzle and khloe got a Anna from Frozen doll.
After we had already put up both of our Christmas trees Nate decided to try calling into one of the radios to win a real Christmas for our first real tree as a family, and well he won. So out went the white tree in the living room and in went the real tree that Nate himself cut down. We took the kids out to the tree farm to pick out the tree and then cut it down and decorated it all right before khloes birthday party
This is the time of year of all the Christmas events. This is the first year we took the kids to kawanas park to ride the holiday trains and see Santa. Clayden didn't understand at first that he had to wait his turn but once he figured it out he was okay waiting in the line which was pretty long. They even had Elsa, Anna and Olaf from Frozen their for the kids to take pictures with.
On December 3rd khloe had her 1st Christmas concert for school. They sang 2 songs the raindeer pokey and Born in the srable . She was so excited and did a great job during her performance.
The Sunday after Christmas we started out the day with morning snuggles followed by putting up both Christmas trees with the kids and getting them all decorated with the ornaments and tree toppers. The kids had a blast doing it
This is the first year we had both sides of the family over for thanksgiving dinner, though we were missing a few people over all we had a great time and I'd like to think all the food turned out good. The kiddos had fun helping out getting everything prepare for as khloe calls it "thanksgiving feast"
