Clayden played around in papas back yard after his nap today. He played basketball and soccer, he also drove his little red car around. After that we left papa and grandmas house and went over to Mrs. Jennie ' s. Clayden loved getting to see her dog and pet her. But MOST of all he loved playing in her crate.
After dinner we took the kids for a bike ride to Bob Jo's. Khloe did a really good job riding her bike all the way there and back. Both kids LOVED their ice cream. They even continued to share once we got home. And yes clayden managed to get ice cream on his forehead.
We made the decision to take a spur of the moment trip to Gatlinburg for the day to go swim. We ate a LOT of food at some pretty good places. For breakfast Saturday morning we had pancakes at the log cabin pancake house, lunch at dicks last resort, and dinner at the apple barn farm house resturant. We did a lot of walking up and down hills. We went into a few stores, and did a lot of swimming. The kids had a blast and so did we so that's what matters most. We got up Sunday morning and began our all day adventure back home
We FINALLY took clayden for his first hair cut since his hair was going over his shirt collar. He was so good and did such a great job.
After his hair cut we went to daddy's work to drop off some stuff, which clayden felt the need to wear safety glasses.
Easter was a kind of crazy with claydens allergies getting the best of him and not wanting to put him around other kids we didn't go to church, however the kids had a great time hunting down the eggs that the Easter bunny hid all over our house. We got to spend time with grandma and papa for lunch and then for dinner we got to see Nana, papa, Auntie Sam, and great grandma cox.
This year we took the kids to Kroger to see the Easter bunny. They had lots of things for kids to do along with them getting to see the Easter bunny. They got to play basketball, decorate sugar cookies, corn hole, and coloring. And this is the first year khloe hasn't been completely freaked out by the Easter bunny.
Friday evening after mommy got home from work we got to color the Easter eggs that way the Easter bunny knew which eggs to hide out of our fridge. Both kids had a blast putting the eggs into the cups of dye.
Daddy spent a few days this past week out of town for work so while he was gone we had a very busy few days. The first day we went to grandma and papas for dinner. The second day was pajama day at Khloe's school and she had to have piggy braids. And the last day daddy was gone we went on a full day of shopping trying to find a bow tie for clayden.
