June 14, 2012-first road trip

Today Khloe turned 6mo. She's working on getting her first tooth you can see it just waiting for it to cut threw. Went on our first 8hr road trip to gatlinburg. Well still making that drive. Khloe has been pretty talkative while she's been awake in the car, lucky for us not too overly fussy except when driving thru the mountains. Hoping for a good nights rest once we get to the hotel since a long day of travel makes everyone tired.

Well Khloe does have pink eye, poor girl feel so bad for her. Went to the doctors office where the paper lining that goes on the examining table became our friend till we kept putting it in her mouth. We had a afternoon full of good naps. Eating really well out of her sippy cups now going to try a different brand tomorrow. Dinner was sweet potatoes and turkey she seemed to like it, along with blowing it everywhere while she was eating it.

June 5, 2012

Khloe Slept for 11hrs last night. Man she must have been tired. We had a eventful day today Khloe ate vegetable beef soup today (well I'm guessing soup) which of course we made a mess with. Followed by a bath since food was EVERYWHERE. We went to nana & papas office today and got to play with some paper while mommy and daddy fixed some mistakes they made. Though her eye seems to still be a little red and possibly turning a little pink still don't think it's much to worry about since it's not always that way just when she's tired or has rubbed her eye's but continuing to keep an eye on it.

June 4, 2012

Today was a interesting day Khloe went to the doctors today because her right eye was all red and puffy. She however is just fine which is good.  The doctor okayed her eating stage 2 foods, so after leaving the doctors she had her lunch which for the first time she ate a mixture of food.  Lunch was rice mixed with bananas.  Khloe was playing on the floor and in her version of crawling got from the couch all the way to her swing, she even started climbing over her toy bar on the floor and would have kept going except she hit her head on the floor.  She was strong though got right back on the floor and started all over again but with a different destination in mind.  She did much better eating out of the sippy cup today and loves to hold it all on her own.  Ended out the night cuddling up with daddy on the couch.
